We had to make the difficult decision to take down the original farmhouse because a bomb exploded nearby during the Second World War, making it unsound and officially derelict. The Stables were structurally sound so we have been able to renovate them and also keep some of their original features.
I know just how hard it can be for large groups of friends and family to find self-catering holiday accommodation in the countryside, be that for a celebration, a reunion, or just some quality time together, and I had a vision of providing a unique and memorable experience for holidaymakers seeking a luxury rural break. Together with my family, who have supported me with this labour of love, we’re excited to offer you a truly unique and memorable stay just 15 minutes’ drive from the historic market town of Beverley, in East Yorkshire.
We completed Pasture House and The Stables in late summer 2021 and now these premier properties have opened their doors, hot tubs, and blissfully comfortable beds to guests of all ages who are guaranteed a peaceful break in the lap of luxury.
Pasture House Ltd is part funded by European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development: Europe investing in Rural Areas
This project has delivered two five star luxury holiday homes with the highest level gold award. It has enabled the replacement of a derelict farmhouse with Pasture House - a three storey, six bedroom main house, all en-suite and further enabled the renovation of The Stables which is a single storey two bedroom, again both are en-suite. Both properties have green credentials, disabled access and provide numerous part time roles as well as bringing tourists into the local area throughout the year.
